Information we collect

• Information you send us. When you use the contact form, request a demo, or start a demo, we collect the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number (optional), restaurant name, team size, and your message.
• Information created while using the application. When a restaurant uses Komnata, the application stores the operational records the restaurant enters — menu items, tables, orders, bills, payments and staff accounts. This data belongs to the restaurant; we process it on their behalf.
• Technical information. Our servers keep standard request logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) to keep the service running and to investigate errors.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry, set up a demo, or activate an account.
• To provide and maintain the application for the restaurant that uses it.
• To keep the service secure and to diagnose problems.
• To send service messages about your account. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we need in order to run Komnata — for example hosting and email delivery — and only to the extent required for them to do that work. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Retention

We keep enquiry and demo request records while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Application data is kept for as long as the restaurant's account is active; demo restaurants are removed after the period shown when the demo is created. Some operational records, such as activity logs, are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. If the information belongs to a restaurant's account, we will forward the request to that restaurant. Write to [email protected] and we will respond.

Cookies

The website stores a small amount of information in your browser to remember your language choice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
